Kieron Johnson took over the Swan and Cemetery in 2010, he was determined to turn it into a pub and Restaurant with an unrivalled warm welcome and excellent food.

He wanted to make a name for himself by turning the pub into something special. Kieron has his roots in the building trade. And has used his considerable expertise in the business world to ensure The Swan and Cemetery offers a faultless service to its clientele, he is enjoying the challenge and the work involved in making this venture a huge success.
 
He has been focused and determined to turn the historic 250 year-old Swan and Cemetery into the best pub/restaurant in the area and he believes he has achieved this. The building is extremely attractive and has great character and charm. It is in a great geographical position attracting customers close to home and further afield.

Both the pub and restaurant have been beautifully and comfortably appointed offering a very warm welcoming atmosphere. The main attraction has to be the exterior decking area which is completely non-smoking diners can enjoy the fantastic dishes on offer in a comfortable environment, completely alfresco ideal on a summer evening or warm Sunday lunchtime.

Kieron boasts that he serves the best Sunday lunch in bury and the fact diners return regularly to enjoy this Sunday special event is testament to this.
